Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 24, 2026
Raptify ("Raptify", "we", "us", or "our") is a web performance monitoring platform operated by RoushTech, LLC. This policy explains what we collect, why, how we use it, and the choices you have. It covers the Raptify website at raptifyapp.com, the Raptify app for Shopify, and the application backend at app.raptifyapp.com.
We try to collect as little as the service needs to work, and we do not sell your data.
The short version
- We monitor the web pages and URLs you ask us to monitor, and we store the results so you can see them over time.
- We use synthetic monitoring: our own scheduled tests against the URLs you choose. We do not place trackers on your storefront, and we do not collect data about your store's visitors or customers.
- Payments are handled by Shopify Billing (for Shopify merchants) or Stripe (for direct customers). We never see your full card details.
- You can export or delete your data at any time, or contact us at privacy@roushtech.net.
- We do not run advertising trackers, and we do not sell or rent your data.
Information we collect
Account information. Your email address and, where you sign in with a password, a hashed password. We never store your password in readable form. For Shopify installs, we receive your store's domain and basic store details from Shopify (described below) instead of a password.
Shopify connection (Shopify merchants). When you install Raptify from the Shopify App Store, Shopify provides us with your shop domain, the access scopes you approve, and basic store information needed to run the app. We use this only to operate monitoring for your store. We request only the access the app needs, and we do not access your order data or your customers' personal information.
Monitoring configuration. The URLs and pages you choose to monitor, your test schedules, alert thresholds, and the alert destinations you set up (for example an email address or a webhook).
Monitoring results. The data our scheduled tests produce, such as page load timings, Core Web Vitals, Lighthouse-style scores, response codes, uptime status, resource waterfalls, and screenshots captured during a test. Tests run against the URLs you provide, and screenshots may capture whatever is on those pages at the time of the test.
Diagnostics and technical data. App version, browser and device type, operating system, crash reports, and error diagnostics (via Sentry), along with server logs that include IP address and timestamps. We use these to keep the service working and to fix problems.
Website data. If you use the contact form on raptifyapp.com, we collect the email address and any message you submit. The site uses Cloudflare Turnstile to block spam, and Cloudflare may process limited technical data to do so.
Payment data. Subscriptions are processed by Shopify Billing (for Shopify merchants) or by Stripe (for direct customers). We receive confirmation that a subscription is active along with its plan and renewal status. We do not receive or store your full payment card details.
How we use your information
- To provide the service: running your scheduled tests, storing the results, and showing them to you over time.
- To send the alerts and reports you configure.
- To operate accounts, authentication, and security.
- To process and manage your subscription.
- To diagnose errors and improve reliability and performance.
- To respond to support and contact messages.
- To comply with legal obligations.
Legal bases (EEA and UK users)
Where the GDPR or UK GDPR applies, we rely on: performance of a contract (providing the service you signed up for), consent (where we ask for it), legitimate interests (security, fraud prevention, and improving the service), and legal obligation where required.
How we share information
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with service providers that help us run Raptify, and only as needed:
- Shopify for app distribution and subscription billing (Shopify merchants).
- Stripe for subscription billing (direct customers).
- Sentry for crash and error diagnostics.
- Cloudflare for the website, content delivery, and spam protection (Turnstile).
- Resend to deliver contact and alert emails.
- DigitalOcean (United States) where the backend, database, and monitoring infrastructure run.
A current list is kept in our Sub-processors page. We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect our rights or users' safety, or in connection with a business transfer.
Data we do not collect
Because Raptify uses synthetic monitoring, we do not place tracking scripts on your storefront, and we do not collect analytics about your visitors or customers. We are not a real user monitoring product, and we do not receive your store's customer records, order details, or payment information from Shopify.
Data retention
We keep your account, configuration, and monitoring results for as long as your account is active. Historical results may be aggregated or trimmed over time according to your plan's retention window. If you cancel and close your account, we delete your personal data, except where we must retain limited records (for example transaction records) to meet legal, tax, or fraud-prevention obligations. Backups are rotated and purged on a regular schedule.
Your rights and choices
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your data, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent. You can edit most data in the app, or contact us at privacy@roushtech.net.
- Access and export: request a copy of your data in a portable format.
- Deletion: uninstall the app or close your account, or contact us, and we will delete your data as described above.
- Correction: edit your data in the app, or contact us.
- California (CCPA/CPRA): you have the right to know, delete, and correct, and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights. We do not sell or share your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
We will not charge you for exercising these rights, and we will not deny you service for doing so.
Security
We protect data in transit with encryption (HTTPS/TLS), store passwords using strong one-way hashing, and limit access to production systems. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information and to respond quickly if something goes wrong.
International transfers
We operate from the United States, and your data may be processed there or wherever our service providers operate. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for international transfers.
Children
Raptify is a tool for businesses and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.
Cookies and tracking
The website and app use only what they need to function, including a session cookie to keep you signed in and Cloudflare Turnstile for spam protection. We do not run advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. See our Cookie Policy for details.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the service evolves. We will revise the "Last updated" date above and, for significant changes, provide a more prominent notice.
